Driver Development Workshop

This half day workshop enables the trainer to deliver a variety of important road safety messages by using an assortment of media to ensure the workshop is delivered with maximum impact.
Driving Development Presentation - An overview of the reality of occupational road risk and how to manage it (Lasting approximately 45 minutes).

CPC Workshop
This 7 hour Approved Driver CPC course can be delivered either as a full day or as two half days spread across a 24 hour period in accordance with Driver CPC rules.

  • Types of Accidents
  • Emergency Situations


Drink/Drug Awareness
This half day course provides a truly unique insight and awareness of the dangers of excess alcohol and the use of drugs in the workplace. The workshop provides positive information on the following topics:

  • Alcohol and the law
  • Drink Drive limits
  • Attitude towards drinking and driving
  • Strength - Volumes – Units
  • Absorption rates
  • Different types of illegal drugs and their effects
  • What drugs look like
  • Prescription drugs
  • Over the counter drugs and their effects in the workplace

Speed Awareness
This unique half day workshop raises awareness of the effects of speeding on the driver, the employer and the victims involved when things go wrong. The trainer provides positive information in various forms of media to explore the following topics:

  • The reasons why people speed and the excuses they give
  • Understanding between excessive or inappropriate speed
  • Speed and accidents
  • Recognising your responsibility
  • Developing a plan to help prevent future lapses
