Providing the correct level of training in comparison to the exposure to risk is crucial to ensure delegates receive the most benefit from the training taking place. For most delegates with a high exposure to risk, the most effective solution is to provide quality on-road training. For TTC’s trainers to undertake a full training needs’ analysis, information is supplied directly to the trainer from the on-line risk assessment. This provides more detailed information, which the trainer can then use to identify the real reasons behind the delegates behaviour and attitude.
Rather than the traditional defensive driving session the trainer guides the delegates though a mix of proven driving techniques to suit the individual’s pace and then builds upon the delegate’s strengths to ensure learning takes place.
The session includes :
- driving licence and eyesight check to complement your existing checks
- vehicle check to help the driver understand the importance of maintaining the vehicle and taking responsibility for the vehicle and their own safety
- short PowerPoint presentation on the long term benefits the training will have to them and the organisation
- demonstration drive from the trainer to “set the scene” subject to your insurance
- individual assessment and coaching with positive encouragement

With the increasing uncertaincy of the cost of fuel, many companies are looking for solutions to help the driver increase the miles per gallon achieved on a daily run. One such option is to provide training specifically designed to help the driver understand how their actions affect the amount of fuel used and the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) produced. By changing the way drivers think and improving their driving techniques we aim to save you 10% – 15% in fuel cost alone – Training that really does pay for itself!
TTC are pleased to announce we can offer Safe & Fuel Efficient Driving (SaFED) training for LCV’s and LGV’s or our unique ECO Drive course designed especially for company cars. |

Driver CPC was introduced across the European Union on the 10th September 2008 for Bus and Coach Drivers, with Lorry drivers to follow in September 2009. This is aimed at maintaining a high driving standard and improving road safety.
All drivers will therefore need to complete a minimum of 35 hours of periodic training within every five-year period. TTC can provide a range of approved courses to ensure your drivers stay qualified. |

Loss of confidence for drivers involved in an accident is often overlooked. Helping employees to learn from the experience is crucial to ensure that the accident does not reoccur and the organisation fulfils its “duty of care” requirements.
This half-day course is built around the individual to ensure their confidence is regained in a positive atmosphere.
