PRINCESS ROYAL TO OPEN TTC GROUP’S NEW HQ IN OCTOBER - Monday, August 13th, 2007
The Princess Royal will officially open the new headquarters for one of the UKs leading organisations which educates people nationwide about road safety.
Driver education specialists, the TTC Group (Telford Training Consultants) will receive their royal guest at their new premises in Telford, Shropshire, on October 3.
The Princess Royal will tour the building which is the HQ for the highly successful company which works to cut the death and injury toll on UK roads.
With more than 100 trainers, they are the UK’s largest provider of the drink drive rehabilitation scheme for convicted offenders which has been praised for reducing reconviction rates.
The road safety experts put on tailor made courses for the commercial world so that firms can cut the number of accidents among company drivers and reduce driving costs.
And with a panel of 150 approved driving instructors, they also run speed awareness and National Driver Improvement Courses on behalf of police and local authorities for motorists caught speeding or for careless driving.
Graham and Jenny Wynn are the husband and wife team who are behind the success of the 14 year old company which was a pioneer of drink drive education and whose motto is: “Safer Roads by Educating Drivers.”
“It is a great honour to receive such a royal seal of approval with a visit from the Princess Royal,” said Director Graham Wynn, who received the OBE for services to road safety last year.
“During the visit HRH will be informed on the issues of drink driving, speeding and driver training. She will also be given the opportunity to meet people whose lives have been changed forever due to the consequences of drink driving.”
“Our staff have all worked hard towards the success of the TTC Group and this visit heralds a new era for our company which is growing rapidly.”
