ALAN JOINS TTC TEAM - Tuesday, July 17th, 2007
Road safety professional Alan Prosser (right) has joined the team at the specialist driver training organisation, the TTC Group, to add to their expertise in corporate education for the fleet world.
Alan (50) brings 27 years road safety experience to the award winning organisation at the forefront of fleet driver training, Speed Awareness and National Driver Improvement, working with both private and public sector organisations to reduce road risk by educating drivers.
“This is an excellent opportunity for me to join a forward thinking and professional organisation which is leading the way in driver education with the aim of reducing road crash statistics,” said Alan.
“I have a passion for what I do. There is nothing more important than helping to save lives,”
Alan was Head of Road Safety at Derbyshire County Council responsible for managing all aspects of the casualty reduction education, training and publicity programme. He also previously worked at Staffordshire County Council with responsibility for the management of one of the country’s first National Driver Improvement schemes and introduced Speed Awareness courses into the county.
In 2002 he was awarded a Fellowship of the Institute of Road Safety Officers following his award winning research studies into the feasibility and delivery of speed awareness diversionary courses.
