More than 10,000 convicted drink drivers attended a rehabilitation course last year run by the TTC Group - a record high reflecting repeated efforts by the specialist driver training organisation to follow up referrals from magistrates.
End of year figures reveal that a record 10,165 successfully completed a training course – up 10 per cent on the previous year. An extra 31 courses were introduced to cope with the increase in demand.
TTC (Telford Training Consultants), of Hadley Park, Telford, Shropshire, is the main provider of courses educating one third of all those convicted of a drink driving offence in the UK. They run courses in 14 counties as well as north and mid Wales.
