COLIN’S AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO ROAD SAFETY
Shropshire’s Colin Pettener MBE, of driver education specialists the TTC Group, has been awarded RoSPAs Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his “outstanding” contribution to road safety.
Colin (65), who liaises with road safety professionals nationwide for the TTC Group, received the framed illuminated certificate at RoSPAs 72nd annual Road Safety Congress held in Stratford from RoSPA Chief Executive Tom Mullarkey MBE.
“The award is made to individuals who have made an important personal contribution to injury prevention either at a national or international level,” said RoSPA President Baroness Gibson of Market Rasen.
“It is a great honour to receive this award not just for me but for all the road safety organisations I have worked with over the years. I would like to thank all those who have supported me and especially my current employers, the TTC Group,” said Colin, of Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury.
The TTC Group, which helps the corporate sector to Manage Occupational Road Risk runs the National Driver Improvement Scheme in Kent and is geared up to provide speed awareness courses nationwide. They are also the UKs largest provider of the drink drive rehabilitation scheme.
