TTC CONTINUE TO CORRECT BAD DRIVING HABITS IN KENT

The award winning TTC Group has renewed its contract with Kent County Council to provide the National Driver Improvement Scheme (NDIS) in Kent.

The county authority re-appointed TTC for another three years after a number of organisations tendered for the contract which had been up for renewal.

Road safety officers have praised the Group – which has successfully provided the scheme in Maidstone for the past three years - for its education of more than 1,000 motorists on the NDIS programme contributing towards a reduction in road casualties.

They re-organised and revamped the scheme in Kent to create a totally updated course which has been praised for correcting bad driving habits. Kent motorists choose to attend the 11 hour course as an alternative to appearing before magistrates to face a charge of driving without due care and attention.

Steve Horton, Road Safety Operations Manager at Kent County Council said: “TTC has demonstrated its commitment, enthusiasm and desire to provide added value and make the contract a success. Their quality approach shows an understanding of the continuous development of the product, investment in staff, partnership working and professionalism.

“TTC is an exemplary training organisation with an aim of reducing road casualties. Their well thought out education has already made its mark and is certain to continue doing so.”

The TTC Group, which also provides speed awareness courses on behalf of police and local authorities, received royal acclaim last year when the Princess Royal opened their new HQ in Telford, Shropshire.
