IN THE TTC DRIVING SEAT
The TTC Group – UK driver training specialists based in Shropshire – have appointed two new associate directors to help steer the fast growing organisation which educates thousands of motorists across the country.
Training manager Mel Hughes and development manager John Price both become associate directors of TTC Ltd which educates the corporate sector to manage occupational road risk, trains fleet operators and professional bus, coach and freight drivers to reduce road risk for business drivers.
The company also run speed awareness courses and the National Driver Improvement Scheme on behalf of police and local authorities with some of the courses in South Yorkshire, Merseyside and Kent.
Also a part of the expanding empire is TTC 2000, the UK’s leading provider of courses for convicted drink drivers who volunteer for the education after appearing before court for sentence. Each year TTC puts more than 10,000 drink drive motorists through its 18 hour seminars which have been highly acclaimed for reducing re-offending rates.
Directors Jenny Wynn and Graham Wynn, who received the OBE in 2006 for services to road safety, started the firm in 1993 along with John Price, who worked on the first drink drive rehabilitation course which later became the model for courses across the country.
The TTC Group’s new HQ in Hadley Park, Telford, received royal approval when it was officially opened by the Princess Royal last October.
