TTC are pleased to offer this unique training which has only previously been available to UK Police. These tests are designed to examine a person’s ability to carry out more than one task at a time and are an excellent indicator as to a person’s impairment at work.
Many organisations that we work with use these techniques to help screen employees to decide who should go on to provide urine / saliva samples. This does away with the suggestion of deliberate targeting of a person for a “random” test. We call this “the middle way” and is more likely to win the support of unions as only employees who appear impaired will be asked for samples.

Supervisor Training
This half day course explores why people drink and use drugs in the workplace and looks at the consequences for the individual and employer. The course equips supervisors with the skill to detect impairment in a noninvasive manner. The course can accommodate up to 15 delegates.

Manager Training
This two day course is aimed at designated managers who may be asked to carry out impairment testing in the workplace and teaches the full range of impairment tests and drug influence recognition. The course is concluded with an exam to demonstrate that the required standard has been met before being awarded a certificate. After this course, delegates will be able to carry out an assessment of employees to an ISO 9000 standard. The course can accommodate up to 15 delegates.

Only need to send a couple of employees on the course? Why not book them on our training course held at our head office in Telford? For more details please call 0845 270 4380.

Alcosense
We all know how a couple of glasses of wine or a couple of pints with friends can easily take you over the limit to drive home. However, if a couple of drinks turn into a few drinks, not many people realise that alcohol can still be in their system the morning after while driving to work or on behalf of their employer – risking their career and livelihood. The AlcoSense™ breathalyser will quickly and accurately tell your level of intoxication helping you make a safe decision about whether to drive or not.
