Client Feedback
In beating stiff competition, TTC won the contract to deliver National Driver Improvement
Training courses on our behalf and have demonstrated their commitment, enthusiasm and desire to provided
added value.
Steve Horton, Road Safety Operations Manager, Kent County Council
The quality of training TTC provided for our new theory trainers was very good. In addition
to this quality training, TTC also prepared the supporting PowerPoint presentation and tutor notes to the
same high standard I have come to expect from them. I am very pleased to have asked TTC to help our preparations
for delivering speed awareness courses in Kent.
Steve Horton, Road Safety Operations Manager, Kent County Council
TTC has a splendid reputation for raising awareness of road safety issues. They are working to
reduce the toll of death and injuries on our roads each year. What TTC is involved in, is a worthy cause.....
Lord Grocott, Cabinet member and Government Chief Whip in the House of Lords
The TTC Group is at the forefront of alcohol education. Their demonstration was very graphic and
I won’t forget it. It was quite shocking.
Shadow Road Safety Minister Owen Paterson MP
What price a life?
Graham Feest, Association of Industrial Road Safety Officers secretary
TTC 2000 is a well regarded organisation which works hard to publicise the need to counter the
drink drive and drug drive problem
Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards director Adrian Walsh
TTC raised issues which I hadn’t thought about before and gave me plenty to think about.
Robert Bartup, Managing Director of UK and European removals company GB Liners
(whose company employs 150 drivers)
Employers must put their drivers on this course to educate and protect them on the roads.
Allied Mills Group Distribution Manager Mike Davis
It was an eye opener. I didn’t realise the strength of drinks had gone up so much and how easy it
was to step over the line. I will be passing that valuable information onto my drivers.
Patrick Nash, Transport Collection Manager, Royal Mail
We had over 60 phone calls from people wanting to attend the TTC workshop. The response was amazing.
So many were disappointed not to be able to attend that we are now putting on more
Angela Rigby, Union Pub Company
It is a good idea to get drivers trained so that they know all about the morning after and generally
about alcohol
Mark Perkins, Operations Manager, Elcocks Coaches
We were very, very impressed by the education from TTC. The courses were absolutely brilliant.
Robert Shreeve, Belle Coaches
I’ve been on lots of training courses and this has been the best one ever.
Joe Mangan, team leader in charge of 19 staff at Ricoh UK
The event was a great success. I would like to thank TTC for a very professional presentation which was
extremely well suited to the military audience.
Warrant Officer Darren Brooks, Aldershot
There is so much information for us all to learn. Any business who has drivers, particularly those who
start in the early morning should attend this course. It is essential.
Mike Ward, Manager, Budget Gas
This course has been very, very rewarding. I had read a lot about alcohol abuse but now I have so much
more knowledge which will be useful in my work. Knowledge makes us more informed practitioners.
Sister Yvette Hard, Clinical Site Manager, Princess Royal Hospital, Telford
All our policy says is that if you are caught on the premises under the influence of drugs or alcohol,
that you will be disciplined. This conference has given me much information on what to look for and I shall be
implementing a new drugs and alcohol policy within the company.
Stewart Braddock, Health and Safety Manager, C.J.Pearce construction
I would strongly recommend that this programme is taken out to industry and the general public. It
would make people aware and must have a major positive effect on improving road safety.
David Hayes, Culligan UK
Quite an eye opener! Very well presented and very interesting to know about course content
Thorough and informative. The DDRS sounds as though we should all attend to understand how drinking
habits have changed. A gentle but powerful presentation.
Should be compulsory in all schools as part of Driving Test preparation.
Excellent, very thought provoking.
Very informative. Clearly presented – good balance of presentation and questions.
Excellent presentation. Well paced and allowed time for questioning. Information easy to digest.
The talk from TTC was absolutely superb. We were riveted by the information we received
and it was useful in our role as magistrates as we are now better informed about what the alcohol awareness
course entails. It is also valuable information on alcohol and health for individuals.
Wigan magistrate Gwenda Thompson
It was an eye-opener and quashed a lot of myths about drink driving. It was an enjoyable
evening, very informative and well presented getting the point over in an understandable way.
Tameside magistrate Jean Parker
Magistrates thoroughly enjoyed the course and it certainly opened a lot of eyes. Magistrates
have been talking very positively about what they have all learned.
The information from TTC such as the demonstration about units of alcohol came as a bit of a surprise to many.
Dave Magrath, Legal Manager at Chester Magistrates Court
It was excellent, a really good presentation. We all think we know a bit about alcohol but it
really opened our eyes. I was recommended to go on the course by a magistrate in another area and I am really glad
that I went.
Tameside magistrate Lee Brown
There are hundreds of people killed every year in Britain by drink drivers. That is hundreds of
lives wasted, hundreds of families who go to hell and back and many of them lead shattered lives afterwards.
Lin Hilton
What TTC is doing is the only way forward. We must educate everyone about the dangers of drink driving.
Lin Hilton
Dear Sirs,
I have just completed an Alcohol Awareness Course at Macclesfield, Cheshire. (3rd Jan, 20th Jan and 27th Jan)
I must record my sincere thanks to your Consultant, Jayne Ashman who conducted the whole course in a thoroughly professional
manner. She was informative, concise with her presentation, which was received gratefully by all who attended this course.
All on this course were aware of the gravity of the offence we had be found guilty of, though I think it fair to say, if there
were more documentaries on the TV in the style of this presentation, then alcohol awareness would have seen the numbers in the
room a lot less. I for one will never drive after having even a single drink, and that is from someone who has driven for 46
years with a clean driving licence.
On arriving for the first day of the course we were not quite sure what to expect, or indeed on how we would be received. However,
there was no recriminations, just a lovely welcome, and “lets see to it that you never have to come back here again” attitude.
It is many years that I have had to sit in on a course, but I must say that Jayne made the whole course interesting with plenty
of interaction, with a result, that I feel will be both beneficial to everyone concerned.
So thank you very much for sending us an excellent tutor
H. C.
I was glad I got pulled up. I don’t know what might have happened. I am truly ashamed of what I have done and
deeply regret it but I am so thankful that no-one was involved.
I attended the course because I had to, as a means of reducing my ban, but now I am really thankful I did. I know a magistrate
and will be telling him that the course is essential.
It was a complete eye opener and I have since cut down on my alcohol consumption. The course certainly changed my attitude to
drink. It is very educational.
What shocked me about the TTC 2000 course was how low level of alcohol was that people could drink which could put them over the limit.
39 year old electrical engineer from Wigan
Ted,
Just a short note to thank you for the course. I found it really interesting and gained a lot from it. Thank you also for being
so understanding to the situation and making the experience an enjoyable one.
Best wishes for the future.
S.S. (woman convicted of drink driving)
What a pity I could not have done this course before conviction. I would not have offended. Your course should be
in the driving test.
Nuneaton drink driver
They say that drink driving wrecks lives but they don’t say just how many it wrecks.
Drink driver jailed for killing his girlfriend
I thought I would be spoken down to but it was non-judgemental and I was treated with respect.
Shropshire convicted drink driver
The trainer was helpful and not judgemental in any way. He was able to get everyone to take part
and made me feel very relaxed in what could have been an uncomfortable position...
Convicted Drink Driver
Watching the victim videos this afternoon has had a profound effect upon me and although I realised
I was very fortunate to have not been involved in an accident when I committed my offence, only now has it really hit
home what devastation can be caused by drink driving.
Drink Driver, Wigan
It was a complete eye opener and I have since cut down on my alcohol consumption. The course certainly
changed my attitude to drink. It is very educational.
Drink Driver
The education course was brilliant. All new drivers should go on the course as it teaches you a lot of
information about alcohol that most people probably don’t know. Many people may be over the limit the next day and not
realise it.
Drink Driver, Leicestershire
I learned a great deal from the TTC 2000 course. It completely changed my life. I used to drink 40 units
of alcohol. I realise now what damage I was doing to myself and instead I drink four units all weekend.
Drink Driver, Manchester
I learned a lot of useful information on the TTC 2000 course and will now be telling everyone not to drink
and drive under any circumstances.
33-year-old airline steward, Manchester
The TTC course really opened my eyes. People would stop drinking and driving if they went on this course but
unfortunately it is usually too late. It is a pity it is not available.
Drink Driver, Motorcycle Champion
The drink drive course really makes you think about how serious it all is. You also find out about the damage
that alcohol does to your body.
The TTC 2000 course is very good. I have been in the drinks business all my life but I learned quite a lot. Everyone should
have this information available to them and not just when they get caught for drink driving
Drink Driver, Publican, Shropshire
It was a very educational and informative course. Money well spent. I would advise everyone to listen to these
talks, see the films and learn about the strength of alcohol and the amount of damage it does to your health.
75-year-old, Anglesey
...a truly inspirational course. It will strengthen my resolve to drink less and more sensibly.
Bury drink driver
Invaluable information. It sent a very real message to everyone attending. I have learned a great more
than I could ever have thought which will be of great benefit to me in the future.
Law Post Graduate from Wales
The course has inspired me to pass this new found knowledge onto my friends and family who have been astounded
by the alcohol facts.
Lancashire drink driver
If I had known I would never have driven to work that fateful morning. I will pass on the information to my
employees.
Liverpool businessman stopped “the morning after”
All L drivers should go on the course. For the sake of three days it saves a lifetime of sorrow if things go wrong.
Nottingham drink driver
...an inspirational tutor.
Birmingham drink driver
Excellent pace, really interesting and great presentation style
He did not patronise us or make the session irrelevant to our needs, well done Adrian
Excellent. I have never attended a course like this and found it to be informative and useful.
I dislike driving, but having to do it as part of my occupation means I need to keep my skills up to date. The
theory and practice has really helped me.
I think my awareness / skills are quite high – purposely critique my own driving but always good to have a
refresher course from the pro’s!
Really enjoyed the course. Great refresher and made me more aware of what I had needed to be aware of. Made me
think before doing certain things.
Made a subject that can be boring very enjoyable whilst informative.
Excellent. Some very good advice and he made me feel relaxed and comfortable in his presence.
