We provide interactive and highly commended training courses for everyone from individuals to the corporate sector.

The TTC Group is a national driver training organisation and our four main areas of work are as follows:-

Post Court
Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme

We are appointed by the Department for Transport & the Department of Environment (Northern Ireland) to deliver a programme approved by the Secretary of State. TTC is the UK’s largest provider of this scheme. In 2006 delivering 3 day courses for over 10,000 convicted drink drivers which equates to over 180,000 training hours, delivered at over 100 venues.

New driver education interventions to be introduced following the 2006 Road Safety Bill.

Diversionary
National Driver Improvement Scheme (NDIS), Speed Awareness Programmes (SAC) & RIDE Programmes

We work in partnership with the Police and local authority to deliver these interventions as an alternative to drivers attending court.

Employers
Managing Occupational Road Risk

We provide both classroom and on-road driver education and training programmes, tailored to meet the needs of the specific organisation and their employees; includes managing speed, mobile phones, hours of work and journey planning.

Drug & alcohol awareness training & education for employers and their workforce, assisting managers with policy development and introduction.

Prevention
Working in partnership with the following:-

  • Local authority road safety teams
  • Developing education programmes for schools
  • Trade associations ie The Freight Transport Association
  • Working with the Traffic Commissioners for LGV and PSV operators
  • Specialist consultants to AIRSO, ROSPA, PACTS on alcohol and drug driving
  • Working with the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety as a member of the Road User Behaviour Working Party
  • Chairing the West Mercia Crimestoppers board
