EVERYONE SHOULD DO A SPEED AWARENESS COURSE
02 June 2010

Every driver should attend a speed awareness course every five years whether they have been caught speeding or not, said one motorist.

Trevor Spencer, who attended a course in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, after being caught speeding, said he had achieved everything he had wanted and more from the course.

"I hope that this initiative continues and is rolled out nationally or even becomes compulsory for every driver to attend without having broken the law - at least every five years," he said.

"The trainer was superb. I have attended and in fact organised workshops/training days and Gary is one of the best presenters I have come across.

"His knowledge and delivery of the course was outstanding with what could be a difficult audience. It was well paced and he involved everyone with a great judgement of each individual where some presenters can fail at this."
