SPEED COURSE INSPIRES BETTER DRIVING
07 April 2010

Many motorists will “re-think” their driving skills after attending a speed awareness course run by the TTC Group, revealed a driver who was on the course after being caught speeding.

The mother of two from Gloucestershire said she felt “inspired” to improve her driving after learning important information on the course held in Hereford.

“As a mum with two small children I took on board the importance of driving at certain speeds in certain areas and expanding my peripheral view and how this can prevent deadly accidents,” she said.

“The trainer presented a speed awareness course today that inspired me to look at a much bigger picture than just me and my car, which I have been doing so, for I don’t know how long.”

She praised the course which was presented to a mixture of age groups with different perceptions of safe driving.

“I don’t normally take the time to write my thanks but on this occasion I felt compelled to do so. I’m sure at times you can feel you are talking to deaf ears but if you can convert two or three people, then it’s worth every second.”
